WINE FOILS
And now for something completely different! Wine foils are wrapped around the tops of wine bottles, covering the cork (they are also called "capsules"). They come in all sorts of wonderful colors, with many designs, logos, and texts. I have been using them to make collages that are available in an ABC book, as digital prints, and as framed originals. They are lighthearted and fun in any room in the house, or as gifts for your friends who enjoy wine -- accompanied by a bottle, if you like!

An Alphabet of Foil Frolics
The images in this paperback 8.5x8.5” ALPHABET BOOK are collages made with foil from the tops of wine bottles (called wine foils or capsules). They come in all sorts of wonderful colors, with many designs, logos, and texts.
The 26 collages, one for each letter, were created on 9x12” cardstock from 2012-2017, then scanned to create digital files. Thanks to winemakers the world over, and to my friends and fellow wine-lovers who shared bottles, foils, and great evenings with me.

Digital Prints
These digital prints have an image area of 9x12", printed on heavy 11x14” paper, leaving margins for matting and framing of your own design . These are OPEN EDITION DIGITAL PRINTS, numbered and signed by the artist. They are sent in a sealed polypropylene envelope with a protective backing board.
One buyer displays four of these pieces in her kitchen. Very nice!
