Leather Bra
Cast iron, rolled steel, leather straps, brass buckles, 2007, about 10" high

The cast iron breasts came from an old Carters (as in overalls) factory in Lebanon, NH (courtesy of AVA, The Alliance for the Visual Arts). They are spool-holders for thread (thus the projections). They had to be riveted to the cut steel straps, as you can't weld cast iron.
